Overview

Logan joined Harris Winick Harris LLP in 2026 as an associate attorney. His cases with the firm have involved multi-million-dollar construction disputes for museums, hospitals, and public transportation projects. He has experience with design defect claims, construction defect claims, and delay claims, as well as other payment disputes.

Prior to joining Harris Winick Harris, Logan worked at a highly regarded law firm based in Des Moines, Iowa, serving the legal needs of a variety of municipal entities across the state on a range of matters. His practice included construction and general litigation, as well as policy development, local legislation, public bidding, public contracting, open records compliance, open meetings compliance, economic development, utility contracts, and real estate transactions. Logan has also written for and spoken at forums committed to serving municipal entities across Iowa.

Logan attended law school at Drake University Law School, graduating with highest honors and earning membership in the Order of the Coif and Order of the Barristers. During law school, he served as the Executive Editor of the Drake Law Review and had his Note on a state’s efforts to constitutionally sustain its century-old campaign finance regulations published. He also competed on the school’s National Moot Court team, with his team twice being recognized for having written the region’s best appellate brief and once advancing to the national competition’s final round. Gaining valuable legal experience and skills before entering practice, Logan interned for the Honorable Christopher McDonald of the Iowa Supreme Court; clerked for the Des Moines firm he later joined after law school; and worked as a teaching assistant in legal research and writing courses.

Before attending law school, Logan worked at a Fortune 100 technology company where he assisted client accounts with the implementation and utilization of cloud software.

Education

Logan earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Duke University in 2016. He went on to obtain his Juris Doctor degree with highest honors from Drake University Law School in May 2021.

Admissions

Logan is admitted to practice law in Illinois and Iowa, as well as before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Iowa and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
